Churchill Omondi Agutu

Chief Executive Officer, Founder

Churchill is currently working as an analyst at a global not-for-profit company working in the low carbon space. Previously, he worked as a Climate Change Advisor at a climate change advisory firm working in South Africa's climate change environment.  


He has a background in Chemical Engineering and completed his Master’s degree at the University of Pretoria, South Africa. His research focused on improving the performance of solar cells.


Further, he is an alumni of the MasterCard Foundation and of the climate change programme: Youth Encounter on Sustainability (YES). He has also held leadership positions in development based projects, he was project leader for the Engineers Without Borders UP Litre of Light (LOL) Project in South Africa, and has been involved with other projects such as student mentorship and the Student Energy Summit 2017 project where he worked with the international cohort of students to build cooking stoves for a local communities in Zavalla, Mexico. 

Churchill enjoys music, listening to podcasts and finding new taste spots in countries he visits! He also makes podcasts in his free time.

Dorcas Adenuga

Social Media and Marketing Director, Co-Founder



Dorcas holds both a Bachelors of Engineering in Chemical Engineering and BEngHons  from the University of Pretoria.


She is currently completing her Master of Engineering degree with a focus in water utilisation engineering. Her passion lies in process engineering , environment, water and energy. 



Dorcas  brings her academic research capabilities to the team as well as her marketing and communications skills .

 She hopes to spread the innovative ways to which we can achieve the SDG goals, through the Africa green collar project.

Kaja Mulumba

 Business Development  Manager, Co-Founder 

Currently, a business analyst at a top bank in South Africa, Kaja's passion lies in Data science and its use in solving complex problems on the continent of Africa.


Kaja has worked in the mining industry and has a Bachelors of Engineering degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Pretoria.


He hopes to bring the skills he gained in both the business environment and mining industry to help the Africa Green-Collar project fulfill its goal of achieving a sustainable future for all.

Dominic Ronoh

Junior Content Manager


Currently a final year Chemical Engineering undergraduate student at the University of Pretoria.

His interest in renewable energy was sparked at the Responsible Business Forum 2018 in Johannesburg, South Africa. 

He has since been involved in a number of research and development projects, the most recent of which was at the City University of New York Energy Institute (USA), a leading research institute focusing on developing renewable energy technologies as pertains to electrical energy storage and the viability of their implementation in large storage grid applications. 

Dominic has keen interests in research, innovation and entrepreneurship within the energy sector. He hopes to use this to help secure the future of energy in Africa, through the Africa Green Collar Project platform.
